Premium Text Messaging Charges on Your Verizon Bill?
Just got my Verizon bill. I already have a text messaging plan, but I’ve been noticing a .25 charge for something called “Premium Text Messaging”. I just called customer service and thought I’d post the answer here in case you’re dumbfounded, too.
You get charged .25 per each text message to a landline. It’s hella cool. You send a text to a landline and a computer voice reads the message to the person on the other end. Only thing is, I didn’t know I was being charged for it.
There it is. Now you know. Stop texting landlines, already.
That is not cool, sometimes I get my phone bill and I will have all these weird charges also. You have to be careful and review your bill.
I have the same experience as Jerry, I usually end up with having unexpected bills or rates. So I have to review my bill and ask the operator to give me a breakdown of the charges
