So last week I get a letter in the mail from the settlement fund guys. I completely forgot about it. The damn check was for $2,000, a cool $1k for each phone line. Wow! That’ll fix their ass.

The downside is, I also got a 1099-INT for $673.23 in interest. Shit, I’ll invest with AT&T any day of the week. LOL

So why was the check so much? Because hardly anyone submitted a claim.

In Summary

Folks, when you see those class action lawsuits and even if you only think you’ll get a few bucks, go through the little bit of trouble to fill out the claim forms.
