Walmart Sticker Shock – For Reals

I was on a local TV station website yesterday and saw an article about Walmart shopping carts zapping people. I had to read it twice to make sure I read it right the first time. Cracked me up. It doesn’t say what store it was happening at. One woman said she was zapped six or seven times. LMAO!!!! I can’t wait to see how this unfolds.
In the meantime, I’m going to take a stab at this myself. I’ve been shocked by carts myself. When the air gets dry and you’re shuffling through the store a static charge builds up. We’re in the middle of a heat wave here. It’s been over 100 degress for several days and the humidity is unusally low for us like in the 20′s. That’ll do it. As I write this the humidity is 25%. So that’s my take on it.
